Embarked Brisbane per HMAT ‘Clan MacGillivray’ A46 for England 18.9.1916.

Roll Unit Army Medical Corps Reinf.
Moore disembarked at Plymouth with his Bn. 2.11.1916. He was temporarily attached to the AIF HQ in London 12.3.1917. He rejoined his unit and proceeded overseas to France via Southampton 16.9.1917. He was transferred to the 3rd Australian Field Ambulance 26.9.1917. The 3rd Divison fought at the Battle of Passchendaele Ridge on the 12.10.1917 and lost 3,200 men either KIA, missing or wounded, the 3rd Divison withdrew from the front line after this date. It is unclear where Moore was stationed when he was wounded in the Field 31.10.1917. He rejoined his unit in the field 22.11.1917 and transferred to the 1st Army Medical Training Coy. 11.12.1918. Moore was promoted to the rank of Driver 11.12.1918. He marched out of France to England for return to Australia 1.6.1919.
Embarked for return to Australia per HT ‘Somali’ 5.5.1919.
Returned/Disembarked Fremantle 8.7.1919.
Discharged 15.8.1919.
Final Rank Driver, 1st Army Medical Training Coy.
