Minchin disembarked at Suez with the Australian Army Medical Corps (AAMC) 7.6.1918. He marched in to the Australian Camp at Suez. Minchin was transported to Alexandria, joined BEF and embarked per HMAT ‘Port Darwin’ for England 3.7.1918. He disembarked at Southampton 16.7.1918 and marched into the 5th Training Bn. Although hostilities had ceased, he proceeded overseas to France via Southampton 29.1.1919. Minchin was taken on Strength with the 28th Bn. in France 6.2.1919. He marched out of France for England for return to Australia 25.3.1919.
Embarked for Australia per ‘Somali’ 1.6.1919’.
Returned/Disembarked 8.7.1919.
