Military History
Jones disembarked at Plymouth 29.1.1917 and marched in to the 2nd Training Battalion at Durrington, Wiltshire. After a brief period of training, he was admitted into Fargo Military Hospital, Rolleston, Salisbury Plain, with acute bronchitis12.2.1917. Jones died of sudden heart failure - a complication of his illness 15.2.1917 and was buried 19.2.1917, on the right hand side of the path at Durrington Cemetery, grave no.198.
