Embarked Fremantle per ‘Port Sydney’ for Suez 9.5.1917
Roll Rank Trooper Sgt.
Roll Unit 3rd Light Horse Bde., 10th Light Horse Regt., ‘A’ Squadron.
Harper marched in to Isolation Camp at Moascar 20.6.1917. He reverted to Trooper 26.7.1917. Harper transferred to 10th Light Horse 11.8.1917. He transferred to the 2nd Field Squadron Engineers Mounted Division 24.12.1917. Harper was admitted to hospital sick in Palestine with Malaria 26.3.1919. On recovery, he was demobilised and listed for return to Australia.
Embarked Kantara per HM ‘Burma’ to Australia 26.7.1919.
Disembarked Fremantle 22.8.1918.
Appointment Terminated 1.11.1919.

Medical Condition Sick Malaria.

Notes Prescott Harper was Western Australia's second Rhodes Scholar in 1905. He  moved to Oxford England for his studies and returned to farm at Gingin. He married Grace Williamson Edgar in 1914 prior to enlisting Prescott was one of the three Harper brothers who enlisted in WW1, Gresley Tatlock and Wilfred Lukin were KIA at Walker's Ridge Gallipoli 1915. Prescott Harper returned home and farmed at Gingin.  'Woodbridge'  is now run by the National Trust of Australia (WA)
