Embarked at Fremantle per HMAT ‘Borda’ A30 for England 29.6.1917.

Ducas disembarked at Plymouth 25.8.1917. He was guilty of 2 offences of refusing to obey orders 21.8.1917. He marched in to the 7th Training Bn. at Rollestone 26.8.1917. Ducas failed his WAS medical test for deafness at Bulford and was discharged as unfit for active service, but fit for general service 5.9.1917. Ducas was transferred to the 6th Infantry Bn. 8.11.1917 at Fovant. Ducas was hospitalised at Fovant Hospital 7.3.1918. He returned to his unit - 28th Bn. and then to the Sutton Veny Training Camp 14.9.1918 and listed for return to Australia.
Embarked for Australia 11.12.1918 per ‘Saxon’.
Returned/Disembarked 26.1.1919- invalided.
Discharged 2.4.1919.

Medical Condition Invalided with deafness.
